Another case of alleged dog-eating has appeared in Slovakia after three men stole a dog from someone’s yard and then took it home and ate it.
The case happened in Rudňany in Spišská Nová Ves district, with three men aged between 18 and 33 accused of stealing a the large Caucasian shepherd dog. Kosice regional police spokeswoman Jana Mesarova explained how one of the men cleared the fence, got the dog out of its pen and took it away.
The men casually walked the dog to their nearby shanty settlement, where they killed the dog and ate it. The three men will be charged only of stealing and could face a two year jail sentence.
