Slovak exports posted an annual growth in July of 22.8%, reaching EUR 3.8 billion. Imports were also up, however, rising 27.1% year-on-year to EUR 3.9 billion.
Slovakia’s trade balance in July thus posted a deficit of EUR 93.8 million. The figures come from the latest data published by the Statistical Office SR today, 1o September.
Export figures for the seven month period came to EUR 26.5 billion, which is 22.4% up on last year, while imports increased by 21.2% to EUR 25.9 billion, producing a seven-month trade balance surplus of EUR 575.3 million.
