There are a total of 200 foreigners in Slovakia who are currently behind bars, with 98 already sentenced and 102 accused and pending judgement.
Citizens of the Czech Republic top the list, as there were 44 of them in jail in Slovakia as of 10 January 2011, reports TASR newswire. They are followed by 28 Vietnamese, 25 Ukrainians and 12 Bulgarians. Others include citizens of Afghanistan, Nigeria, Morocco and Syria, for example.
