Boxperfect, a company from Essex, England, has decided to launch operations in Slovakia with a new plant in the village of Kojsov in East Slovakia close to Kosice.
In total the company should generate around 50 jobs, with the first 20 expected this year as it starts producing packaging and wrappings for the luxury gift market.
The company puts the move down to rising demand in Central and Eastern Europe, with Slovakia having been chosen for the investment because of overall production and labour costs, also because it praises the Slovak workforce as many Slovaks have already worked for the company at its UK plant.
