The Volkswagen Slovakia plant in Bratislava is taking on new workers thanks to increased demand for the car models that are produced at the plant. The company plans to launch a seven-day output from September and so needs another 1,000 new employees.
Company spokesman Vladimir Machalik recently announced that there are still 260 vacancies available, and that the company is looking for people with a technical education. No professional experience in the automotive industry is required.
Vokswagen Slovakia restarted production today, 9 August, following a two-week holiday stoppage at the plant.
