Top managers in Slovakia earn more now than they did a year ago, reports Hospodarske noviny today, 9 August.
Project manager from Merces.sk, Miroslav Dravecky, noted that “Whereas top managers earned an average of EUR 2,458 a month in the first half of 2009, their salaries exceed EUR 2,509 a month this year”. He pointed out that those working in the IT sector still enjoyed the highest salaries.
Personnel agency Trenkwalder projects that the gross salaries of managers are up 7% year-on-year at the end of June. The company noted that performance bonuses in particular were higher.
