Possible 1000 new jobs for Dubnica nad Vahom

Electronics producer Delta Electronics looks set to generate another 1,000 jobs at its plant in Dubnica nad Vahom as part of its expansion plans, thanks to increased demand for its products.

The company is about to invest around EUR 10.5 million into new production, warehouse and office premises, and has already submitted its project for an Environmental Impact Assessment.

Work on the investment could start in March and take up to eleven months to complete. The green light will depend on how its investment incentive talks with the government work out.

Delta Electronics entered the Slovak market in 1994 and already employs an 850-strong workforce. It produces products for telecommunications, IT, industrial automation and medical equipment.
