Economic news portal hnonline.sk reports today how two new logistics parks should crop up near Presov, posing strong competition to the IPZ Zaborske industrial park that is already there.
The development companies Yxya and Towercom intend to establish the two parks, which will provide 145,000 m2 of space for storage and production operations. Towercom should launch its EUR 40 million investment next year, while Yxya might not start its much larger EUR 700 million project until a year later.
No information was given as to intended tenants, but they both did mention machinery manufacturing operations from the automotive sector, raising speculations about the arrival of Honeywell, which recently chose Slovakia over Poland for an investment generating around 600 jobs.
